克里斯·范·奥尔斯伯格
1949年生于 美国 密歇根州,自幼喜欢画画，长大后曾在密歇根大学及罗得岛 设计 学院 学习 雕塑，并获得了 艺术 硕士学位。毕业后，他成立了自己的雕刻 工作 坊，并开始创作 绘画 作品。他的画曾在惠特尼 美术 馆和 近代 美术馆展出。奥代表作：《魔法师的 奇幻 花园》1980年获凯迪克银奖，《勇敢者的 游戏 》1982年获凯迪克金奖，《极地特快》1986年获凯迪克金奖。
奥尔斯伯格被称为美国最有才华的图画书大师之一。他善于用 文字 引导读者，也善于运用细腻的画面和变幻的光影，营造谜一样的超现?氛围。在他的书中，图像与文字相得益彰，共同烘托出亦真亦幻的气氛，带给读者无尽的遐想。
